This Privacy Policy explains how Lumira Labs LTD ("Daysout", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use the Daysout mobile application and related services (together, the "Service"). We are the data controller for personal data processed through the Service.

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service.
a. Account information. When you sign in with Apple we receive a unique account identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address (Apple may provide a private relay email). We store your display name, handle, and profile settings you provide (for example home base, distance unit, currency, and your answers to setup questions such as attendance habits).
b. Content you create. Memories you save, including: the events you attach them to; photos you choose to add; notes, ratings, and tags; companions you tag; travel details you enter or confirm; and cost entries you add. Photos you attach are uploaded to private storage linked to your account and are accessible only to you and, where you explicitly share them (for example a shared album), the friends you share with.
c. Location data. (i) While capturing: if you grant location permission, we use your device's location at the moment you use the capture feature to suggest the event you are at. This involves sending your approximate coordinates and the current time to our servers to query nearby venues and events. We do not request or use "Always" location access and we do not collect location in the background. (ii) Photo scanning: the dates and locations embedded in your photos are read and processed on your device to detect past events. Photo location histories are not uploaded; only the venue/date lookups needed to identify an event (for example "coordinates near a stadium on 2 May") are sent to our servers.
d. Social features. Friend connections, invitations you send or accept, tags identifying that you attended an event with a friend, and shared albums you join.
e. Purchase information. If you purchase the app, a subscription or other paid features, the transaction is processed by Apple. We receive transaction confirmations and entitlement status (for example whether your subscription is active) but we never receive or store your payment card details.
f. Technical and usage data. Basic technical information necessary to operate the Service, such as device type, app version, language, and diagnostic logs (for example crash reports and error logs). Where we use analytics, they are limited to understanding aggregate feature usage and improving the Service.
g. Support communications and feedback. If you contact us, we keep the correspondence and your contact details to resolve your query. If you submit a feature request in the app, we store the message, your account identifier and handle, the app version, and whether you have agreed to be contacted about it.
h. Companion tags. When you record who you attended an event with, you may enter the name of a person who does not use the Service; that name is stored as part of your memory and is visible only to you (and converts to a linked account only if that person later joins via your invitation).
We do not knowingly collect special category data. Note that the events you log may indirectly reveal interests (such as which team you support); this information is processed solely to provide the Service to you.
